Maestro José Antonio Montaño is conducting La Madrileña, Coro Victoria and Schola Antiqua in the interpretation of the Requiem by José de Nebra (1702-1768).The concert which conmemorates the 250 anniversary of Nebra´s death has been requested by the Festival Internacional de Arte Sacro de la Comunidad de Madrid. This event takes place in Santa Barbara del Convento de las Salesas Reales Church where it was debuted back in 1758 upon the death of Spain´s queen Doña Bárbara de Braganza.
José Antonio Montaño edited the score whose original sources, belong to the Real Capilla and were found in the archives of the Palacio Real of Madrid.
